New-Life Mills is a division of Parrish & Heimbecker, a feed company that has been a part of the Canadian landscape since 1964. We have five feed mills in Canada located in Southwestern Ontario, Eastern Ontario and Saskatchewan.

Ruminant Technical Representatives are responsible for building new client relationships and maintaining current ones in specific territories; currently we are looking to add a Ruminant Technical Representative to our team in Eastern Ontario within the Brockville to Quebec border area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of sales strategies to drive sales in Eastern Ontario
• Promoting and educating customers/prospects on the benefits of using NLM products
• Problem solving on farms
• Ration balancing using AMTS software program
• Organizing producer meetings
• Active involvement at trade shows
• Continuing education

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BSc related to agriculture industry.
• Several years’ experience (3 minimum) working with dairy farms
• Knowledgeable about Canadian Feed Industry and Canadian Dairy Industry
• Understand Canadian quota system including rules and regulations within Ontario/P5
• Self-motivated individual with strong commitment toward delivering quality service
• Personable with the ability to communicate well with people of diverse background and levels of authority
• Effective team player with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with a desire to learn
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel most of the time and must have own vehicle in good working condition
